treehugger breeder colony experiment: exp #5

This is intro notes for treehugger experiment #1, total experiment number is 5

Today set up breeder colony to test for mutations/behaviour in treehugger norns. This is not because I want anything in particular about THEIR genetics, they just make a more than adaquite base for future mutations. I'm going to be checking in from time to time to see what sort of progress has been made on the genetics front.

Hypothosis to be proven:
Beneficial mutations will show up in less than 100 generations, using a standard genetic stock in a semi protected world.

Tools:
Docked c3 world with water areas blocked or removed, norngarden, various other standard minor mods to try and create better food availability. Large initial clutch of eggs (aprox 9-12) to allow for bad breeding rate that has frequently been an early end to a good experiment. No splicing will by done but artificial insemination is allowed and encouraged to up count of upper generation eggs, as well as egg cloning or creature to egg tool. No grendels or ettins are involved due to memory issues. standard 6 live creature world

will check in on at least daily intervals (1-8 generation jumps is my guess). will try to leave running for as long as possible.
